International Women’s Day
Join us this International Women’s Day and help us meet the increasing need of women facing extreme disadvantage. We are asking trusts & foundations, individual donors, and companies as well as those local to us in Kings Cross for funding to help us support women who need us most.

Your support can be life-changing. Please consider giving in whatever way you can.
Organising a collection, making a corporate gift, or a one-off or regular donation. Every gift helps sustain vital, frontline support for women rebuilding their lives. Click here to donate.

We welcome volunteers who want to make a practical, hands-on difference. Our volunteering opportunities can include helping to revitalise our garden, sorting our clothing area, facilitating activities in our drop-in, assisting with fundraising administration, making care packages for women from your offices and supporting or organising fundraising activities and events.

As a small charity, we greatly value professional expertise offered on a voluntary basis. Even a few hours can make a significant impact.
We are particularly in need of support in the following areas:
Accounting and finance
Marketing and communications
Marketing strategy
Social media strategy
Digital marketing
Brand development
Your expertise can help strengthen our foundations so we can better serve women in need.
-
We warmly welcome donations of clothing and essential items for women accessing our services. Everyday basics are especially needed, as they are distributed quickly, including:
Clean, practical clothing
Underwear and socks (new only)
Toiletries and hygiene essentials
Warm layers and weather-appropriate items
If you would like to organise a clothing or essentials drive within your workplace, community or church, we would be delighted to hear from you.
-
Sometimes, support also means raising your voice. We encourage people to ask important questions about whether enough is being done to protect vulnerable and disadvantaged women from harm. This can include engaging with your local council, MP, or police representatives to advocate for better support and safeguarding.
This International Women’s Day join us in standing alongside women who need it most. Whether you give, volunteer, offer your skills, or speak up - your action matters.
